Advanced IP Address Management

This week I traveled to Washington DC to speak on the subject of Advanced IP Address Management. For those of you that attended - Thank you!!!  It was a great seminar with lots of attendee participation and we shared some great stories and best practices. One attendee shared with me that she is about to start a project to readdress her entire large enterprise and we had a blast chatting about "gotchas" to avoid and best practices to adhere to.

For those of you that couldn't attend, we've decided to host a webcast on this same subject next week, Thursday, May 21st at 10:00 CDT. Click here to sign up. We'll discuss things like:

  • When to use public vs. private IP address space
  • Complexities caused by private address space
  • What you really need to know about IPv6 today
  • Best practices for assigning and tracking IP addresses
  • Key technologies for IP address tracking and management

Ping me if you have questions/suggestions for the webcast and hope to hear from you then.

Josh...is there a way to post notice of events like this?  I work just outside of DC and would have attended if I knew it was coming to this area.

Do you have a shcedule of events that customers can attend?

Thanks.

Bryan,

Great hearing from you. Actually, it's the first event like this that we've done so we're still figuring out the process. I'll put future events in the blog ahead of time so as long as you're subscribed to the blog you should be good to go.

Josh
